The Challenge Awaiting You

As a Business Analyst at Bloomreach, you will be an integral part of our Professional Services team. Your primary responsibility will be to measure and monitor the value Bloomreach delivers to our customers, analyze global e-commerce trends, and provide valuable insights to both our customers and internal teams.

You will collaborate with various teams, including Customer-facing Field teams, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance. To thrive in this role, you should be hands-on, passionate about data, and eager to make a significant impact in the e-commerce industry. Your insights will help improve our products and business processes, ultimately driving growth for our customers and Bloomreach.

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst at Bloomreach, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Analyzing Customer Data: You will analyze customer website data, focusing on A/B tests and website trends. Your goal will be to demonstrate the value that Bloomreach’s products and features bring to our customers.

  2. Collaborating with Field Teams: You’ll work closely with field teams to understand customer data and use it to build long-term partnerships. Your ability to translate data into actionable insights will be crucial in maintaining strong customer relationships.

  3. Developing Self-Serve Reports: You’ll contribute to the development of self-serve reports as part of the new Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities being built within Bloomreach. These reports will empower teams to access and leverage data more effectively.

  4. Providing Actionable Insights: Leveraging data, you’ll identify industry benchmarks and provide actionable insights that help Bloomreach’s customers optimize their digital commerce strategies.

  5. Supporting Marketing and PR: You’ll support our Marketing and PR efforts by identifying data trends that position Bloomreach as a thought leader in the e-commerce industry.

  6. Empowering Finance and Pricing Teams: Your data-driven insights will assist our Finance and Pricing teams in identifying opportunities for renewals and growth, ensuring that we continue to deliver value to our customers.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have the following experience and qualities:

  • Educational Background: A BA/BS degree in business, economics, sciences, arts, humanities, or engineering with a quantitative background is required.

  • Analytical Experience: You should have at least 2 years of experience in an analytical or quantitative role, preferably in Business Intelligence (BI). Proficiency in using spreadsheets and SQL is essential.

  • Team Player: You should be able to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating ownership in handling projects independently.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with Tableau, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, and Adobe SiteCatalyst (Omniture) is a strong plus. Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts is also highly desirable.

  • Testing Experience: Exposure to A/B Testing or Multivariate Testing is a plus, as these methodologies are often used to assess the impact of changes in the e-commerce environment.
