Job Summary
Cognizant is on the lookout for a talented Technical Lead to join our energetic team. We need someone with 7 to 10 years of experience, especially in data visualization using ANSI SQL and Tableau. This role involves leading technical projects, designing data solutions, and making sure we deliver high-quality visual analytics to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Lead, your main duties will include:
- Design and Implementation: Lead the creation and use of data visualization solutions using Tableau.
- Dashboard Development: Oversee the making and upkeep of Tableau dashboards and reports.
- SQL Expertise: Use your ANSI SQL skills to make data queries faster and more effective.
- Collaboration: Work with different teams to understand and analyze business needs.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure the data shown in visualizations is correct and trustworthy.
- Best Practices: Develop and promote the best methods for data visualization and reporting.
- Mentorship: Guide junior team members in their technical skills and help them with projects.
- Review Data Models: Regularly check data models and visualizations to ensure they match business goals.
- Troubleshooting: Fix any technical problems related to data visualization tools.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends and developments in data visualization and analytics.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions on schedule.
- Data Security: Implement measures to protect data privacy and security in all projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Always look for ways to enhance data visualization methods and processes.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Experience in Data Visualization: Strong skills in using Tableau for data visualization.
- Proficiency in ANSI SQL: Good understanding of data querying and optimization.
- Design Skills: Ability to create user-friendly and impactful visualizations.
- Understanding of Data Management: Knowledge of data modeling and how databases work.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work well with various teams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems effectively.
Certifications
- Tableau Desktop Specialist: This is a nice-to-have certification.
