Job Summary
Cognizant is looking for a dedicated Team Lead for our Property & Casualty (P&C) division. We want someone with 5 to 7 years of experience, especially in Workers Compensation. The ideal candidate should be skilled in Advanced Excel and have a solid background in Care Management, Policy Administration, New Business, and Claims. In this role, you will lead a team to ensure smooth operations and achieve great results.
Key Responsibilities
As a Team Lead in the P&C division, your responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership: Guide a team of professionals to meet departmental goals and support each member's growth.
- Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations related to Workers Compensation to ensure everything runs smoothly and complies with regulations.
- Data Analysis: Use your advanced Excel skills to analyze data and create useful reports.
- Claims Processing: Ensure that Workers Compensation claims are processed accurately and on time.
- Policy Management: Handle policy administration tasks to keep all policies current and compliant.
- New Business Facilitation: Help with the onboarding process for new business, ensuring everything integrates seamlessly.
- Collaboration: Work with care management teams to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
- Performance Improvement: Create strategies to enhance team performance and efficiency.
- Team Monitoring: Monitor team performance, offering feedback and coaching as necessary.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Ensure smooth communication and workflow between different departments.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address any challenges or issues that arise within the team or processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote initiatives that improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance Alignment: Ensure that all team activities follow company goals and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in data analysis and reporting using Excel.
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation: In-depth understanding of Workers Compensation, including Care Management, Policy Administration, New Business, and Claims.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
